The Chula Vista Elementary School District (District) is proposing to improve their recently acquired property at 1855 Maxwell Road for the relocation site of their existing Corporate Yard (bus storage and maintenance yard) currently located at East J Street, Chula Vista. On April 11, 2000, the District's Board of Education authorized the purchase of approximatey 10.5 acres of property at 1855 Maxwell Road for a relocation site of the District's Corporate yard, the relocation of which was included in Proposition JJ as part of the District's overall Improvement Plan.
