Document Description
The project proposes to realign a 2.8-mile segment of Highway 1, from about 1400 feet north of the Piedras Blancas Lighthouse to the Arroyo de la Cruz bridge, in order to protect the highway from coastal erosion for the next 100 years. The project would also involve removal of the existing bluff rock protection within the project limits.
