Document Description
The proposed Project would add wasterwater treatment capacity and improve treated effluent quality of the City's WWTP to comply with existing and future waste discharge requirements. Specifically, the Project would: 1) Increase WWTP capacity to 2.0 MGD to meet the City's planned wastewater loads that woulde be generated through the year 2016; 2) Improve existing facilities, including new headworks, Biolac system, primary clarifiers, sludge digester, sludge drying beds and a 5,000 gallon septic storage tank for septic storage tank for septic receiving, management and equalization; and 3) Make wastewater treatment improvements including increased denitrification, increased aeration, and Class B biosolids production.
