Notice of Exemption

Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
Reasons for Exemption
Maintenance and minor alteration of existing public facilities, with no expansion of existing use. There are no special conditions at the site such as hazardous materials or rare species. Because the tree removal is being gradually implemented over 15 years, and the work areas are subsequently seeded and planted with native plants, no significant cumulative effects will occur.
