Document Description
Install five water wells, with associated sub-surface and surface equipment to deliver water from the wells to the hatchery fish ponds. Using a standard drilling rig, the wells will be installed on the upland side of a levee which separates the Kern River Hatchery property from the Kern River. A small temporary catch basin, which will be removed following well completion, will be installed at each well site to contain any drilling fluids. To allow equipment access to the drilling sites, minor trimming of riparian trees and shrubs will occur.
