- This is a stormwater management and pasture management dairy enhancement project. The project involves the installation of a lagoon agitator pump, engine drive wheel, and 9,900 ft. of irrigation pipe. The project also involves installation of ~19,000 feet of frencing and the revegetation of of ~4.5 acres of denuded riparian area with native vegetation. The project also includes basic data collection and research on soils, vegetation, and manure for natural resource management purposes.

- The installation of improved manure transfer equipment and fencing qualifies under Class 3 as new construction of limited small facilities and installation of small, new equipment and facilities in small structures. The planting of 4.5 acres of native riparian vegetation along a denuded stream corridor qualifies under Class 4 as minor alterations in the conditions of land that will not affect sensitive resources. Soil, vegetation, and manure sampling qualifies as basic data collection, research, experimental management, and resource evaluation activities that do not result in a serious or major disturbance to an environmental resource.
