Document Description
Construct a 110-foot long retaining wall on the embankment of Reading Creek Road. Below the retaining wall, place 200 linear feet of rock slope protection along the bank of Reading Creek to prevent undermining of the creek bank and the road embankment above. Rock slope protection will be 12 feet wide at the base, by 6 feet high. Log groins will be placed to divert flows from the base of the slope, and willows will be planted in the rock slope protection and between the log groins. A new low-flow channel will be excavated in the adjacent gravel bar to maintain low flows and fish passage after the rocks and logs are placed.
