Document Description
The applicant, Turner Propane, is proposing to relocate its existing propane system from the Old Mammoth area and provide for increased tank capacity to meet future propane demands for the Town of Mammoth Lakes. The propane tank facility site comprises approximately 16,875 square feet, located east of the proposed Snowcreek Golf Course expansion on Assessor's Parcel Number 40-140-04, outside the Town's Urban Growth Boundary (UGB). The project would include installation of a concrete platform to accommodate up to four 30,000-gallon propane tanks, and an additional smaller concrete platform to accommodate three vaporizers. A paved parking area would be provided on-site to facilitate product delivery and routine monitoring and maintenance of the facility.
