- Document Description
- The proposed Fourth Revision of the County Housing Element is a legally required Element of the Los Angeles County General Plan. This revision covers the period between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2014. The proposed Housing Element analyzes adopted land use policies and serves as a guide for meeting the current and future housing needs of the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. The Housing Element contains estimates of the existing and projected future housing supply, and identifies appropriate actions to be taken to encourage the private sector to help meet existing and future housing needs, as well as to ensure that governmental policies do not serve as constraints to housing production.
