The proposed project is to amend Chapter 17.11 (Affordable Housing) and Chapter 17.96 (Definitions) of Title 17 of the City's Municipal Code to conform with the state legislature's revisions to certain provisions of Government Code Section 65915 that pertain to density bonuses, incentives, and concessions provided to developers for the production of affordable housing. The project will also address certain policy issues related to the location of affordable housing units as directed by the City Council.
