The Santa Barbara County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is proposing to repair a 7.1-mile reach of the southern Santa Maria River Levee, extending from the east side of the Santa Maria City Landfill to the flood gates that go through the levee just west of the north end of Blosser Road, adjacent to the City of Santa Maria.
