Document Description
Relocate an existing outdoor shower located at the lower parking lot at William Randolph Hearst Beach, San Simeon State Park to eliminate health risks and improve drainage. The project will remove the old structure and construct a new drainage system, platform and shower in the northwest corner of the parking lot. The drainage structure will require a hole in the beach sand ~6' in diamater and 3' deep. Water will be provided through an existing delivery system. Additional work will modify a beach access gate at the new location to accommodate the new facility and maintain an emergency access route.
