The proposed project consists of three separate contiguous parcels that are irregular in shape and equal approximately 160 acres. The project adjoins the Montgomery Woods State Reserve to the north, west and a portion of the south. Undeveloped private land is located to the east and the south of the project. The project consists of transfers of ownership in interests in land in order to preserve open space, habitat, or historical resources.
