Reasons for Exemption
The project will be completed in 2 phases (Phase 1 and 2). Phase 1 will involve: 1) lining 14,500 linear feet of existing sanitary sewer mains, and 2) removing brick manholes and replacing them with pre-cast concrete manholes. Phase 2 will involve: 1) conducting open cutting, and 2) replacing 2,500 linear feet of old sanitary sewer mains that could not be lined with the new mains. Between the two phases, roughly 210 sanitary sewer laterals will be lined or replaced.
