Document Description
The project consists of restoring the section of Old Alamo Creek that runs through the town of Elmira from South A St. east to Vacaville's Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant's effluent release culvert, a length of about 1000 meters. Initial restoration activities include removing a variety of invasive plant species that are currently growing along the channel and banks as well as in higher terrace areas within five meters on either side of creek banks.
