Document Description
The existing terraced hillside between DWR's Administration Building and the Banks Pumping Plant is sloughing, and the hillside movement threatens the pumping plant and access road. Efforts to shore up the slope with walls, etc., have not worked. DWR intends to excavate 75,000 yards of material from the slope to reduce the slope angle. Drains will be added to reduce soil saturation on the slope.
