The City of Shafter owns and operates seven active groundwater wells that deliver domestic water to its municipal distribution system (State of California System No. 1510019). The CIty is proposing to drill and construct a new groundwater well with supporting treatment systems to expand and improve the operating efficiency and capacity of the distribution system for existing water.
