Document Description
This purpose of this contract is to design, develop and demonstrate a 50 kW grid connected biopower system for combined heat and power application. Previously, a small modular biopower (SMB) system rated at 12 1/2 kW was successfully developed and demonstrated using waste forest slash and thinnings to provide utility grade power to the greenhouse complex and heat to maintain seeding bed temperature at Hoopa Valley.
