Document Description
Redevelopment Plan for approximately 1,860 acres in the City of South Lake Tahoe. The proposed project has been identified by the City as a prime candidate for redevelopment assistance because, as noted in the Draft Tahoe Valley Community Plan, the area "has remained relatively stagnant, receiving few of the benefits of either private enterprise or public investment." To address these conditions, the Agency has initiated creation of a new redevelopment area in and around the boundaries of the Bijou / Al Tahoe Community Plan area, the South Y Industrial Tract Community Plan area, and the Draft Tahoe Valley Community Plan.
