- SAA #1600-2007-0303-R2 The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Division of Aeronautics, is enforcing State Airport operating regulations that rely on Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) which govern the allowable height of objects near airports. Specifically, the County has been directed to address potential obstructuions within the County owned Recreation Area under the surfaces defined by Part 77 of the Code of Federal Regulations (FAR Part 77) near the Airport.
