Document Description
The project will rehabilitate 25,345 ft of sewer mains and 3,687 ft of 4 inch laterals within sub-basins G3, G5, N2, and T2 within the City to enhance the structural integrity of the system. The Project includes the following upgrades: (1) rehabilitation of sewer mains and laterals by breaking apart the old cermaic pipe with a pneumatic pipe bursting tool as a high density polyethylene pipe replacement is simultaneously pulled in; (2) point repairs of sewer mains; (3) installation of sewer cleanouts either at the back-of the walk, within planter strips, or at the end of line (i.e., cul-de-sac); (4) possible installation or replacement of manholes, is necessary, for the pipe bursting process, and; (5) other miscellaneous improvements.
