Document Description
The project is an amended reclamation plan pursuant to California's Surface Mining and Reclamation Act (SMARA) of 1975, for the existing Parks Bar Quarry. The project will include reclamation of lands disturbed by mining 200,000 to 500,000 tons of stone per year for a period of 50 years on a 145-acre site. Phased reclamation will reclaim the site to open space and wildlife habitat using native plants.
