Document Description
The project proposes the expansion of an existing mine site that would allow the extraction of up to 11 million tons of sand and gravel over a 15-year period. The project consists of a phased mining program that would excavate alluvial materials and convey them to an existing central processing plant. Mining, reclamation, and related haul road would occur on up to 338.6 acres of the approximately 2,078-acre site. Mining and reclamation would be continuous and concurrent during the life of the permitted operations. The project would be implemented through a combined Reclamation Plan that encompasses the existing mining area and proposed mining area.
