Document Description
On Decembe 19, 2018, the City of Montebello adopted a Resolution finding that a proposed irrevocable offer of dedication of land is consistent with the City's general plan, approving the IOD as to form, and directing staff to commence certain improvements on the property. The IOD is for 3,441 square feet of property owned by Sentinel Peak Resources for a right-of-way easement for the purposes of improvements and ongoing maintenance to the existing San Gabriel Mission Monument site after the site was damaged from the Lincoln Fire of 2015. The improvements to the property, including prior and anticipated work to be performed by the City, include, but are not limited to, new landscape and irrigation, concrete pathway repairs, decomposed granite, water lne and directional sign and initial 90-day plant establishment period. All of these improvements were fully covered by and analyzed in the Final EIR for the Montebello Hills Specific Plan, which the City Council certified on June 10, 2015. At that same time, the City Council also approved a mitigation monitoring and reporting program and adopted a statement of overriding considerations for the Montebello Hills Specific Plan project.
