Document Description
The proposed project would construct approximately 6,000 linear feet of 78-inch rubber-gasketed reinforced concrete pipe between the RHCBSG and the SGCBSG. The pipeline would be installed beneath Mines Avenue and would include one concrete outlet structure at each Basin 2 of the Rio Hondo and SGCBSG and three variable speed pumps and a sump in the cement-line canal at SGCBSG. The entire system would be linked through a telemetry system in order to ensure the proper operation of the gates when the pump is active. The proposed pipeline would allow water to gravity flow from RHCBSG to SGCBSG at a rate of 150 cfs or to be pumped in the opposite direction.
