Document Description
To replace a failed sewage treatment plant that will not be able to meet new requirements under a new NPDES permit. The plant services the existing 88 lots (86 building lots and 2 parks or open spaces) of the Hammonton Gold Village Subdivision. The new plant will meet state discharge requirements for an NPDES permit and will be operated by the River Highlands Community Services District. The discharge is approximately 0.026 MGD and no increase in discharge is proposed.

The new plant will not increase the existing usage and will require only minor modification of the existing plant footprint. The modifications will be in an area that has already been impacted by the building ramp and driveway. An EIR and Archaeological Survey were done on the site prior to placement of the original plant. The modifications will not necessitate any disturbance of the known archaeological sites.
