The project is located in the unincorporated community of San Andreas in Calaveras County. California at the existing San Andreas Sanitary District Wastewater Treatment Plant. The district upgrades project consists of the following: replace headworks; upgrade the irrigation pump station; make improvements to pond D; make improvements to pond B and C; aeration improvements; and replace the aging digester. The total length of project construction is anticipated to take approximately 12-24 months, and is anticipated to take place in 2017 and 2018.
