Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0226-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, the El Dorado County Community Development Agency, as represented by Mr. Dustin Harrington. The project proposes to excavate up to 3 test pits to be used for a geotechnical investigation in preparation for the future installation of a culvert crossing associated with the Diamond Springs Parkway project. Each test pit will measure approx. 5 feet wide, ten feet long, and 12 feet deep. Subsurface material will be observed, and small samples will be collected for lab analysis. Following excavation, observation, and sampling, the excavated material will be replaced, and the test pit location restored to its original condition. The test pits will be situated in such a way that woody vegetation will not be removed, and excavated when no water is present within the stream.
