Document Description
The City of Madera General Plan Update consists of a comprehensive update to the City's General Plan. This would involve an update of all mandatory elements of the General Plan, including the Housing Element, and the addition of three optional elements: Community Character, Community Design and Sustainability. The City of Madera is located in the San Joaquin Valley in Madera County, California. Regional access to Madera is provided by State Route 99, a major north-south highway, and State Route 145 which passes through the City from the south and east. The City of Madera is approximately 12 square miles in size.
