Document Description
The proposed project consists of widening the roadbed 20 ft in total from the currently paved SR 58, including the addition of 8 ft standardized shoulders along both the east-bound and west-bound lanes of travel, a 4 ft wide median and the installation of median and shoulder rumble strips. The Project will result in permanent impacts to 13.39 acres of desert tortoise and Mohave ground squirrel, species protected by CESA.
