Document Description
The applicants, John and Barbara Benson, Trustees, have submitted a Tentative Parcel Map #02428 proposing to create a 24-acre parcel (Parcel 1) for the future Ormat 49.9 net megawatt binary power plant. The remaining 215 acres (Parcel 2) will remain in agricultural production. The plant will consist of six Ormat Energy Converters (OEC), a transmission line interconnect, the geothermal well field and pipelines to bring the geothermal fluids to the power plant and a water conveyance system to bring water from the Imperial Irrigation District to the power plant for cooling.
