Document Description
The project is for the construction and operation of a new rock and gravel (aggregate) surface mine on a 310-acre site in the east Antelope Valley in the unincorporated community of Pearblossom in Los Angeles County. Approximately 31 million cubic yards (maximum of 2 million net tons annually) will be excavated. Approval is specifically for Lowered Facilities Alternative, as identified in the environmental impact report, which would place plant facilities and equipment partially below ground.
