Document Description
The rehabilitation or replacement of infrastructure at the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant. Much of the equipment has become corroded with time. North Clarifier Number 1 would be rehabilitated to prevent corrosion. North Clarifier Number 2 would be relocated to prevent further corrosion. For nitrogen removal to current standards, new brush aerators with on/off timers would be installed. Two submersible mixers would also be installed to maintain velocity in the ditch when the aerators are off. Additionally, improvements would be made to the Return Activated Sludge pump station, Distribution Structure, and clarifiers to improve reliability, water quality, and worker safety. The three current pump stations will be consolidated to two new pumps.
