The project is a Tentative Parcel Map to divide an existing 8.57 acre lot into two parcels. One parcel will be 1.66 acres and contain the existing Longs Drug Store. The other 6.91 acre parcel will contain the remainder of the shopping center. The site is subject to the General Plan Regional Category Village, Land Use Designation General Commercial. Zoning for the site is C36 (General Commercial). The site is developed with an existing shopping center that would be retained. Access would be provided by existing driveways connecting to Tavern Road and Alpine Boulevard.
