Document Description
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is proposing to remodel a portion of the interior of the historic (1940) combination barracks/truck garage at CAL FIRE's West Riverside Forest Fire Station (Station #18) in Riverside County. The remodel will allow the station to more adequately house County and State firefighters that are assigned to the station. This project will actually help to preserve the historic building by implementing the strategy of keeping the building in use through minor alterations which are necessary for efficient use of this building.
