Document Description
Conduct a prescribed fire on 20 acres within San Simeon State Park south of San Simeon Creek Road and east of Washburn Campground. The burn plot is dominated by grassland with a scattered shrubs and young Monterey pines. The project supports natural resource management. The burn will reduce light fuels, contain brush, promote native perennial grass regeneration, and encourage recruitment of Monterey pines.
