Document Description
Of the entire 28-acre site, ~14 acres have been left in their natural state of dense conifer forest. This project will create defensible fire protection space in a shaded fuel break manner by removing dead and dying trees, clearing under brush and ladder fuels, and selectively thinning and trimming trees to 40% to 60% canopy coverage.
