The purpose and nature of this project is to examine and access the condition of the exterior of the San Joaquin Pipelines (SJPL). The objective of the project is to characterize the extent of damage to the exterior pipelines by corrosion or other forms of deterioration. The project will not at any time disrupt the delivery of water through the Hetch Hetchy system.
