Document Description
The purposes of the proposed Project are to reduce agricultural pollution sources, and to develop a risk reduction assessment of food safety parameters. The applicant is 1) evaluating vegetative waterways, sediment traps and polyacrylamide (PAM), and 2) implementing demonstration projects on participating farms to improve water quality throughout the Pajaro and Salinas River Watersheds. The demostration projects will involve: 1) identifying pollutant sources, and 2) implementing Best Management Practices to reduce these sources.
