- Note: Final EIR Sacramento Natural Gas Storage, LLC is proposing the construction of an underground natural gas storage in the depleted Florin Gas filed within portions of the City of Sacramento and an unincorporated portion of Sacramento County. The proposed project will include the storage of up to 7 billion cubic feet of natural gas within the deleted gas field reservoir at one time. The proposed project will include the drilling of up to 5 natural gas injection wells, construction of a compressor station and approximately 1 mile of high-pressure gas transmission line.
