NOTE: Review per Lead
The San Francisco Bay Area Water Trail Plan provides recommendations and guidance for a network of landing/launching sites at various locations on the margins of San Francisco Bay and its tributaries for non-motorized small boats. Water Trail access is being considered for at least 112 locations in the counties of Alameda, Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, Napa, Sonoma, Solano, Marin, and Contra Costa. The Plan would result in the development of an education program to promote safe and responsible use of the Bay. The Plan intends to help protect and increase appreciation of the Bay's environmental resources.
