Document Description
Demolish an existing one-story, 5,750 square foot commercial building (formerly The Acorn Restaurant) and construct a new two-story, 9,825 square foot office building for medical/dental office use and the related site improvements at 1906 El Camino Real located in the C-4 (General Commercial applicable to El Camino Real) zoning district. The applicant also requests 49 parking spaces based on the use-based parking guidelines where 59 parking spaces would otherwise by required in the C-4 zoning district. Ingress and egress would be by two driveways, a one-way driveway for ingress only onto the site along El Camino Real and a two-way driveway to and from the site onto Watkins Avenue. The proposed project would require the following approvals: 1. Use Permit for construction of a new building and the number of parking spaces based on the use-based parking guidelines; 2. Architectural Control for design review of the new building and related site improvements; 3. Tentative Parcel Map for the creation of four medical/office condominium units within the buildings; 4. Heritage Tree Permit for the removal of two heritage size trees; and 5. MND to analyze the potential environmental impacts of the proposed project.
