The proposed project includes the adoption of a new Live Oak Redevelopment Plan to eliminate and prevent the recurrence of the conditions of blight within the Project Area. The Agency proposes to eliminate blighting conditions and prevent their recurrence through the planning, development, re-planning, redesign, redevelopment, recnstructiion, and rehabilitation of the Project Area, and by providing for such facilities as may be appropriate or necessary in the interest of the general welfare, in accordance with the General Plan and other planning documents as may be adopted or amended.
