The City of La Mesa Public Works Department is proposing a Sidewalk Master Plan, which was developed by surveying existing sidewalk conditions, reviewing existing policies and procedures related to pedestrian improvements, identifying areas of high pedestrian traffic and mapping existing and proposed sidewalk location. The purpose of the sidewalk master plan is to identify new sidewalks in the City of La Mesa that would improve pedestrian access and complete the pedestrian sidewalk system in neighborhoods that desire sidewalks.
