Document Description
The objective of the proposed well, Well No. 45, is to continue to increase the District's water production to meet peak day demand requirements of existing development and future connections. The Cucamonga Valley Water District proposes to construct the new well and related appurtenances within the City of Rancho Cucamonga. The new will is anticipated to be drilled to a depth of approximately 1,200 feet below ground surface (bgs). The well is anticipated to yield approximately 3,000 gallons per minute (gpm), approximately 3,000 acre feet per year. Groundwater pumped from the well will be delivered to the District's 1B Reservoir site, within the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
