The City of Long Beach General Plan land use designation for the project site is "Open Space and Parks" Land Use District (LUD) No. 11.
Document Description
The project would improve the Colorado Lagoon water body and adjacent habitat and recreation areas. The proposed project would implement: (1) water quality and sediment quality improvements, (2) habitat improvements, and (3) recreation improvements. The original environmental impact report (EIR 30-07) was certified be the Long Beach Planning Commission on September 04, 2008 and recertified by the Long Beach City Council on October 14, 2008. The Addendum to EIR 30-07 was originally certified by the Long Beach Planning Commission on October 7, 2010.
