Due to rapid development in Palmdale and the surrounding areas, a new intermediate school is needed to accommodate the education needs of the rapidly growing population within the District. The David G. Millen School, which was previously considered to serve elementary grades students, will serve approximately 1,250 students in 7th and 8th grades.
