Document Description
The City of Lancaster has undertaken a comprehensive revision of its General Plan. The last comprehensive revision occured in 1997. The Lancaster General Plan is a dynamic document based on conditions and community values expressed during a particular period in time. Since these conditions change over time, the City must periodically reevaluate the General Plan to ensure that it continues to reflect the City's long-term vision for growth. The purpose for the General Plan revision is to update the plan so that it more adequately reflects the community's long-term vision for growth to the year 2030.
