RCRCD is submitting an application to the DFG for a Streambed Alteration Agreement for properties throughout the RCRCD Service Area for the RCRCD Regional Enhancement, Restoration and Conservation Project. Activities under the agreement include conservation, restoration, and enhancement of riparian, ephemeral, upland, oak woodland, and grassland areas on conservation easements and other areas.

RCRCD's Streambed Alteration Agreement application is exempt under CEQA under multiple exemptions. Minor alterations to land, water, and vegetation on existing officially designated wildlife management areas that result in improvement of wildlife resources. RCRCD's conservation, restoration and enhancement of habitat constitutes duties performed pursuant to actions required by a regulatory restoration, and enhancement of habitat constitutes duties performed pursuant to actions required by a regulatory agency to maintain, restore, or enhance natural resources.
