Document Description
North Coast Railroad Authority shall engage in maintenance and repair activities from Milepost 12.5 to 13.5 to reconstruct and replace, in-kind, railroad facilities damaged in the Dec. 31, 2005 storms. The project will repair damaged railroad facilities, minimize future flood impacts to neighboring agricultural lands, and preserve and maintain the Northwestern Pacific Railroad transportation corridor.

Project repairs existing structure with no expansion of NCRA right of way. Project will not involve any expansion of existing use and will not change the purpose or capacity of the structures being repaired. Project repairs are in-kind to previously existing conditions. The project involves no work in Waters of the United State or the State of California, in waterways or wetlands. No excavation of native soils will be conducted. All activities will be conducted in accordance with NCRA's Best Management Practices.
